Job summary

Jobtailor in Kraków seeks an Engineering Manager to lead, grow, and empower a high-performing engineering team. You will co-own the technical and product vision for Forms, Tasks, and Workflows and ensure the team builds reliable, scalable, and increasingly intelligent tools.

You will establish Forms, Tasks, and Workflows as building blocks across processes, scale permission controls, and drive AI adoption within the team's practices while aligning with product strategy and cross-team

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience leading platform, product, or operations/automation-focused teams.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture and distributed systems.
• Ability to reason about APIs, platforms, developer experience, and scalability.
• Comfortable engaging deeply in technical discussions without being a full-time IC.
• Strong people management skills with a coaching mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with Product Managers and Designers.
• Ability to influence beyond direct authority.
• Leads with a servant-leadership mindset - removes blockers, trusts and empowers the team to make good decisions, and measures success by team outcomes rather than personal authority.
• Comfortable with agile ways of working - adapts process to what the team actually needs rather than enforcing ceremony for its own sake.
