Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Designer to craft enclosures for switchboards, combining plastic and metal components. The role covers concept development through implementation, with cross-technology work including plastics and sheet metal.

The position is hybrid (Tychy) with occasional trips to Germany. You will create 3D models, select materials, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Min. 5 years of experience in mechanical design or engineering.
Experience in conceptual design.
High level of independence at work.
Experience working with plastics.
Knowledge of sheet metal processing (bending, punching, holes).
Familiarity with Creo; Windchill is a plus.
Ability to create technical documentation.
English at least B2; German at least B1; Polish fluent.

Responsibilities

Create and develop technical solutions from the idea stage.
Design enclosures for switchboards from plastics and metal components.
Create 3D models and technical documentation.
Select materials and production technologies.
Cooperate with production, quality, and engineering teams.
Participate in design reviews and optimize solutions.
