Job summary

BMC Software, Inc. is seeking an EMEA Senior Tax Associate to join its Warsaw-based team (with potential for Netherlands).

The role focuses on income tax accounting and compliance across multiple countries, working closely with corporate accounting, treasury, and legal to ensure accurate tax disclosures. You will analyze and prepare tax provisions, support external consultants, review returns, and contribute to cash tax forecasting while staying up-to-date on changing tax laws.

Qualifications

• RA certification preferred or in process.
• Big 4 corporate tax or public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong technical tax background with compliance focus.
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP ASC 740 and tax impacts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly income tax accounting provisions for 20+ EMEA entities.
• Assist outside consultants with income tax compliance in each country.
• Review income tax returns and prepare accrual calculations.
• Assist with cash tax forecasting.
• Assist with indirect tax matters such as VAT and withholding tax.
