Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Kraków is seeking an EMEA VAT Analyst to support the Global Tax – Indirect Taxes team. You will lead VAT adherence, advisory and compliance across the EMEA region in collaboration with global functions.

The role reports to the Global Taxes – Senior VAT Manager EMEA, and offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in the Kraków office. Relevant ACA/CTA/VAT certs and SAP/Ariba experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, law or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting and multinational environments.
• Fluent English language skills.
• ACA, CTA or VAT certificate.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, and Vertex tax software.
• Broad knowledge of EMEA VAT law and regulation.
• Ability to translate complex tax concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the indirect compliance cycle with the current outsource provider and the EMEA Controllers.
• Improve and standardize EMEA VAT processes across VAT workstreams.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Centre for efficient invoice processing.
• Be a contact in VAT audits with external service providers and internal partners.
• Address VAT questions including intercompany transfer pricing and PE risk.
• Keep up to date with local and national VAT law developments.
• Maintain VAT procedures and documentation; coordinate with country controllers.
• Support trade compliance and supply chain activities in EMEA and UK.
