Job summary

Novocure in Kraków is seeking an experienced Manager, Payroll EMEA to lead regional payroll operations across 13 countries. You will manage outsourced providers, oversee the transition from local vendors to a regional solution, and build standardized, compliant payroll processes with HR and Finance collaboration.

The role requires 10+ years of EMEA payroll experience, strong leadership, and advanced Excel skills, with fluent English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll operations experience across the EMEA region.
• Experience managing outsourced payroll providers.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Experience leading payroll vendor transitions and regional payroll implementations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, social security, taxation and statutory requirements across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations across EMEA, ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing.
• Manage and develop the EMEA Payroll team and drive high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee monthly, month-end and year-end payroll activities including reporting and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll, tax, social security, and employment regulations.
• Manage relationships with external payroll service providers and transition efforts.
• Drive payroll process improvements, standardization and stronger controls.
• Oversee payroll reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
• Lead audits and compliance activities related to payroll.
