The Impact You'll Make in this Role
- Acting as the primary interface between business-facing demand planning and supply chain/manufacturing teams.
- Optimizing statistical baseline forecasts using advanced modelling techniques within the demand planning tool.
- Coordinating demand planning exceptions, including out-of-control demand, forecast bias, and unusual month-to-date consumption.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate execution of demand plans in planning tools.
- Maintaining system data integrity and forecasting parameters.
- Driving the adoption of automated and AI-driven forecasting methods, reducing the need for manual business input wherever possible.
- Providing standard templates for business discussions, including the key areas of business intelligence required to maintain strong forecast performance.
- Using forecast performance metrics to monitor accuracy and implement corrective actions.
- Providing key demand inputs to Supply and Production Planning teams to help develop strategies that balance cost and cash while maximizing service levels.
Your Skills and Expertise
- Interest or experience in planning, demand planning, supply chain, or data analytics.
- Ideally, experience with demand and ERP planning tools, such as Kinaxis cloud-based solutions, and familiarity with SAP/APO.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control, planning systems, forecasting techniques, and statistics.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A self-motivated and adaptable mindset, with the ability to initiate and manage process improvements.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in Data Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong multicultural awareness and emotional intelligence.
Job specifics
- EMEA role based in Wroclaw, Poland
- This role has on-site working model , with the employee working at least four days a week in the office.
- Travel - May include up to 10% domestic/international
- Working pattern - full time
