Job summary

Eaton in Tczew, Poland, is seeking a Test Engineer to join the EMEA Mobility Test Departments. You will support product validation by preparing test setups, running lab and durability tests, and documenting results for conventional powertrain and electrified vehicle systems.

The role requires a solid technical foundation, attention to detail, and teamwork. You will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and global teams to deliver accurate validation results and ensure compliance with IATF

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in testing, laboratory operations, validation, or product development or manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

Execute validation testing for electrified vehicle systems and components including PDUs, BDUs, Power electronics, ePowertrain systems, transmissions, and clutch components for passenger and commercial vehicles.
Prepare test samples, instrumentation, fixtures, and laboratory equipment for test execution.
Follow approved test procedures and customer requirements.
Collect, analyze, and document test data and results.
Support troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment and test benches.
Assist in the development and modification of test methods, fixtures, and automation systems.
Create and maintain technical documentation including test reports and validation records.
Collaborate with engineering teams and technicians to ensure successful project completion.
Comply with safety, quality, and IATF requirements.
