Job summary

ATMOS Works in Kraków, Poland, seeks an Electrical Engineer to own the design and integration of power systems, avionics architectures, and sensor payloads across the full development cycle, from concept through lab bring‑up to field‑proven reliability.

You will perform schematic capture and PCB layouts, qualify components, manage BOMs, and lead design reviews while coordinating with Mechanical and Software teams to ensure safety, EMC compliance, and robust production‑readiness.

Qualifications

• Completed degree, B.Sc. or higher, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of power electronics, motor control, including BLDC/PMSM, and battery management systems.
• Proficiency with lab instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, power analysers, network analysers, and soldering/rework tools.
• Experience taking hardware from prototype through to production-ready design.
• Ability to read and produce clear technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• *EU nationality is required.

Responsibilities

• Electronic Design & PCB Development: design schematics and PCB layouts for power management, motor control, sensor interfaces, and communication systems.
• System Integration & Verification: integrate avionics, power distribution, propulsion electronics, and payload interfaces; define electrical acceptance tests.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Mechanical and Software teams for connector selection, routing, thermal management, and field qualification.
