Job summary

Mycompas is seeking an experienced ICT Disaster Recovery specialist to join our Data Centre Team in Warsaw. You will translate BCM requirements and DR expectations into structured ICT DR activities, coordinate planning, testing and remediation, and report readiness with dashboards and evidence status.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in IT operations, 3 years in a similar role, ITIL 4 Foundation, and certifications such as CBCI or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the ICT DR workstream within the Data Centre Team.
• Contribute to ICT DR plan definition, review, and upkeep for in-scope services.
• Coordinate the DR planning, testing, reporting, and remediation cycle.
• Maintain DR readiness visibility through dashboards, evidence status, and action tracking.
• Act as the Data Centre Team focal point for ICT DR coordination with BCM and internal stakeholders.

• Good understanding of ICT Disaster Recovery governance and operational readiness within IT / Data Centre environments ;
• Ability to translate BCM requirements, BIA outputs and continuity expectations into structured ICT DR activities and deliverables ;
• Strong coordination skills across infrastructure, operations, applications, security, IAM, vendors and BCM stakeholders ;
• Experience in DR planning, test cycle coordination, reporting and remediation tracking ;
• Ability to maintain DR governance artefacts, review cycles, ownership models and readiness reporting ;
• Working knowledge of backup, restore, replication, failover/failback and service recovery concepts ;
• Good understanding of major incident, change and problem management processes ;
• Ability to define and monitor DR readiness KPIs, dashboards and action status ;
• Strong communication, facilitation, follow-up and escalation management skills ;
• Ability to manage documentation and reporting in controlled information domains, including Unclassified and Restricted ;
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure coordination, resilience, continuity support or service governance ;
• At least 3 years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity support, resilience coordination or service recovery governance ;
• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional tasks and follow-up across multiple technical teams ;
• Experience in maintaining plans, reports, action trackers, test calendars or governance artefacts ;
• Ability to support management reporting and structured stakeholder communication ;
• Experience in regulated, critical or audit-sensitive environments is an advantage ;
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive actions to closure ;
• Ability to work as a member of the Data Centre Team while supporting the Data Centre Team Lead in ICT DR-related activities.

Duties/role:
