Job summary

Jacobs is expanding its Global Design Center in Kraków and seeks an experienced Document Publisher to create technical reports, proposals and marketing materials in MS Office tools. Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in English Philology or similar field required.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in German and/or Swedish and/or Danish studies or similar field.
• Excellent language skills in English and Polish.
• Advanced proficiency in desktop publishing software.

Responsibilities

• Providing publishing technical support using MS Office Suite, tools, guidelines and templates.
• Collaborating with production team on electronic and print outputs of varying size and complexity.
• Completing routine technical tasks and following direction from a lead.
• Performing quality control to meet project quality, objectives and deadlines.
• Organizing material and ensuring writing standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Reviewing published materials and suggesting revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.

We are currently expanding our Global Design Center in Kraków to meet evolving process needs and increasing recruitment demand. The CSS team - the creative team - is seeking talented and experienced Document Publisher who wants to co-create sales and communication materials with both regional and global reach.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing publishing technical support using MS Office Suite, applicable tools, guidelines and templates.
• Acting as part of production team, collaborating with team members in production of both electronic and print copies of varying size and complexity - from technical project reports and proposals to marketing.
• Completing routine technical tasks and following direction from a lead.
• Performing quality control check to meet project quality, objectives and deadlines.
• Organizing material and completing writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Reviewing published materials and recommending revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in English Philology or similar field (Linguistics, Communication Studies, Translation and Interpretation, Cultural Studies, Philology).
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in German and/or Swedish and/or Danish studies or similar field.
• Excellent language skills (English and Polish).
• Advanced proficiency in desktop publishing software (MS Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong team player, with demonstrated organization and attention to details skills and accuracy.
• Must be willing and able to travel for short periods.
