Job summary

Lyten, Inc. is seeking a Dispensing Process Engineer in Poland to join the core team for launch and ramp-up, then support industrialization. The role focuses on developing, validating, and deploying dispensing processes and technologies to meet production targets.

The candidate will lead troubleshooting, implement new materials, validate processes, and drive PFMEA, SOPs, and DOE Studies in a multinational environment. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
• Experience in dispensing process development in automated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

**Dispensing Process Engineer** The position will initially join the core team responsible for the launch and ramp-up of the production line, ensuring successful implementation of manufacturing processes and achievement of production targets. Following the launch phase, the role will transition to the Industrialization Team, where it will be responsible for developing, validating, and deploying new dispensing processes and technologies. **Overall areas of responsibilities and activities:*** Lead process troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities to achieve production yield, quality, and throughput targets during ramp-up and serial production using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC).* Lead new dispensing materials implementation during industrialization phase, define dispensing technology based on product requirements to achieve best possible bond quality, cycle time and material consumption* Responsible for dispensing and plasma treatment technologies, including process development, validation, optimization, and industrialization.* Lead qualification, validation, and industrialization of new dispensing materials, adhesives, sealants, and consumables.* Translate product requirements into robust manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.* Define process guidelines to improve technical cleanliness in production* Analyze the impact of engineering changes* Define process validation guidelines and drive process commissioning during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) by achieving targeted Machine and Process Capabilities (cm, cmk, cp, cpk, pp, ppk)* Ownership and drive development of the Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Process Defect Descriptions, and Reaction Matrixes.* Train and mentor technicians, operators, and engineers on dispensing technologies, process standards, and troubleshooting methodologies.* Ensure and apply 5S principles* Characterize existing processes, define critical parameters and establish controls that allow successful measurement of process capability and monitoring using SPC* Execute Design of Experiments (DOE’s) and feasibility studies to optimise process conditions and improve production Key Process Indicators (KPI’s) Accountability/Authorization * Budget responsibility: Yes (for capital projects)* Direct reports: No* Authorized to decide on investments according to role and policy* Authorized to report any quality, environment or health and safety nonconformities, ideas, risks, and opportunities* Authorized to stop the production process if the performance abnormalities or non-conformance will be detected that will impend equipment and/or product integrityRequirements * Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar* 3+ years of work experience within new dispensing process development in automated manufacturing environments such as automotive, semiconductors, pharmaceutical, medical devices, etc.* Experience in writing technical documentation (Requirement specifications, Functional design, UML, Test Cases, Test Records)* Passionate by solving complex problems with technology in a simple yet innovative way* Track-record of leading successful process development, implementation and sustainability in production environment* Experience in reading technical documentation, mechanical drawings & electrical diagrams* Ability to work in a team and to cooperate actively with quality, engineering, design, maintenance and production* Capacity to move from engineering mindset being detail oriented to a leader considering end-to-end, broader business picture in the matter of seconds when necessary* A role model in safety, quality, teamwork and attitude* Improvement oriented with positive attitude enabling positive and constructive feedback* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills & working knowledge of statistical data analysis* Strong verbal, written communication skills* Capability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, cross-functional & multinational environment, with all levels of employees and management* English fluentSpecific skills * Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma, 5S* Problem solving following 8D methodology, Ishikawa diagram* Familiarity with APIS* Familiarity with CAD 2D/3D Knowledge* Understanding of manufacturing processes and PFMEA* Fundamental Project Management methodology* SEP 1kVPersonal success factors * Highly organized and result-driven* Has a can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit* Passionate & purpose driven* Ability to work under pressure, excellent time management* Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently* Ability to work in a high-profile international environment* Qualities that we cherish are flexibility, sense of quality, motivation to take on new challenges, grit and a sense of humor
