Job summary

Allegro Ltd. in Poland seeks a courier operations specialist to manage shipments, plan efficient routes and quickly respond to delivery issues. You will work with the warehouse team to ensure timely preparation and contribute ideas to improve courier workflows.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with colleagues daily and applying practical problem solving to keep service levels high.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position within a courier company.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Secondary education.
• Knowledge of the city's topography.
• Ability to make independent decisions and act under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and daily teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assign shipments to couriers based on routes and delivery priorities.
• Plan courier routes considering traffic, weather and regional specifics.
• Respond quickly to delays and delivery issues to minimise disruptions.
• Resolve ongoing operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns or recipient availability.
• Cooperate with warehouse team to ensure timely shipment preparation.
• Propose improvements to courier work organisation to increase efficiency.

• Planning courier routes, taking into account traffic conditions, weather and regional specifics;
• Responding quickly to delays, delivery issues and unforeseen situations to minimize operational disruptions;
• Resolving ongoing operational issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or recipient availability problems;
• Cooperating with the warehouse team to ensure the timely preparation of shipments for dispatch;
• Proposing improvements to courier work organization in order to increase efficiency and service quality.

This is the right job for you if you have:

• Experience in a similar position within a courier company;
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (nice to have);
• Secondary education;
• Knowledge of the city's topography;
• Ability to make independent decisions and act effectively under pressure;
