Job summary

Solid Company is recruiting a DevOps Engineer (Platform Team) in Poland to modernize cloud infrastructure and build a scalable platform for data-driven services. You will join a global tech provider shaping analytics and AI-powered solutions.

You will design and migrate Kubernetes manifests, upgrade core components, and boost observability. Strong Python and IaC skills, plus 5+ years in platform engineering, are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering/DevOps or related cloud infrastructure roles.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP in production environments.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise (large-scale clusters).
• Python coding skills and software engineering background.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD or GitOps approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, migrate, and modernize Kubernetes manifests aligned with centralized tooling and ArgoCD architecture.
• Lead upgrades and maintenance of core platform components (cert-manager, external-dns, Kyverno, etc.).
• Improve observability with metrics/logs (Victoria metrics, Grafana) and proactive monitoring.
• Provide expert engineering support for ongoing upkeep and expansion of platform applications.
• Resolve engineering operational tickets and ensure timely support for internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, migrating, and modernizing Kubernetes manifests to align with centralized internal tooling andArgoCDarchitecture.
• Leading the upgrade and maintenance of core platform components to ensure system stability and performance (e.g.cert-manager, external-dns,Kyverno, etc.).
• Proactively identifying and close monitoring and alerting gaps to enhance platform observability (Victoria metrics/logs and Grafana).
• Providing expert engineering support for the continuousupkeepand progressive expansion of application platforms.
• Resolving engineering operational tickets, ensuringtimelysupport for internal teams.

Must-haves:

• Experience In Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure for 5+ years.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS (preferred) and/or GCP
• Strong commercial experience with large-scale Kubernetes clusters (10k+ vCPU)
• Strong Python coding skills and commercial experience as a software engineer
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience withArgoCDorGitOps-based deployment approaches
• Experienceoperatingand supporting production cloud infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD, build, and deployment automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
