Job summary

Solid Company in Kraków is seeking an experienced C++ developer to join an engineering team building a modern flight planning platform used by major airlines worldwide. You will work on enterprise software delivered on-premise and as a SaaS, collaborating with engineers in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining C++ applications, building new features, modernizing legacy systems, and writing automated tests while participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C++
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Experience developing applications for Windows and Linux
• Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems
• Good knowledge of SQL, Git, and Linux/Unix fundamentals
• Experience with Docker
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good in English and Polish

Join an engineering team developing a modern flight planning platform used by more than 30 airlines worldwide, including some of the industry's largest carriers. The solution combines real-time weather, airspace restrictions, airport data, and route optimization to help airlines improve operational efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and optimize flight performance.

You’ll work on enterprise software delivered both as an on-premise solution and as a SaaS platform, collaborating with experienced engineers in an Agile environment.

You will

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications in C++
• Build new features and enhance existing functionality
