Job summary

U.S. Bank is expanding its Warsaw team and seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to design, automate, and operate critical banking infrastructure. You will contribute to a greenfield, cloud-native core banking platform and help ensure resilience, security, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires collaborating with Thought Machine Vault architects and platform engineers, with in-office presence in Warsaw three days per week in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Extensive DevOps experience in banking or regulated environments.
• Strong AWS cloud engineering experience and IaC tooling.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and scripting skills.
• Experience supporting production environments with high uptime requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and secure cloud infrastructure for core banking platform.
• Design and maintain IaC for resilient environments.
• Ensure availability, reliability, scalability, and security across environments.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and drive automation across deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve developer experience while enforcing controls.
• Support platform governance, incident management, and SRE practices.
