Qualifications

• Extensive DevOps experience in regulated financial services.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or equivalent).
• Experience building, maintaining, and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Experience in highly available production environments with uptime resilience.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools: Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Sumo Logic.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience supporting Apache Kafka in production.
• Understanding event-driven architectures and Kafka messaging patterns.
• Kafka topics management and performance tuning.
• Distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Production support, incident and change management.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure for the Thought Machine core banking platform.
• Develop IaC to provision resilient environments.
• Ensure platform availability, reliability, scalability and security across environments.
• Monitor critical banking services and identify issues before customer impact.
• Implement automated remediation and self-healing.
• Participate in incident management and RCA.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive automation across provisioning, configuration, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve developer experience while enforcing controls.
• Promote DevSecOps across the SDLC.
• Support Vault deployment and operations.
