Job summary

Pracyva is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform/SRE professional to deliver a PoC for open-source workload automation and drive its evolution into a scalable, enterprise-ready solution. You will build containerised platforms on Kubernetes and design end-to-end automation workflows, supporting CI/CD pipelines and security-focused deployments.

The role emphasizes cross-time-zone collaboration, testing, and robust automation practices to ensure reliable, observable systems across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps / Platform / SRE / Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Strong coding/scripting capability (e.g. Python, Java, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in real delivery/operations scenarios.
• Experience with DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub (and/or GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively across global locations, driving outcomes with clear communication and ownership.
• Contribute to testing practices (automation, integration testing, release validation).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps / Platform / SRE / Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in real delivery/operations scenarios.
• Experience with at least one or more of the following (as per project focus):
• Strong coding/scripting capability (e.g. Python, Java, or similar).
• Strong communication skills (working across time zones and diverse teams).
• Testing experience (building quality into delivery, not only "after the fact").

Nice to have:

• Experience with DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub (and/or GitHub Actions).
• Experience building PoCs into production‑grade deployments (scaling, hardening, automation, monitoring).
