Kempuri is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to lead platform engineering and FinOps on a high-scale e-commerce project. You will treat platform services as a product for development teams, balancing cost, value, and reliability.

The role requires deep Kubernetes experience (OKD/OpenShift), Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD with Jenkins/ArgoCD, and cloud proficiency across AWS/GCP/Azure. Remote-friendly with competitive compensation.

Formación

• 6+ years of DevOps/SRE/related experience.
• Acting with Platform Engineering and FinOps mindset.

• Terraform and Ansible experience; IaC vs config automation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop the DevOps Platform with repeatable, well-documented services for automation, CI/CD, observability, and infra management.
• Automate repetitive tasks using pipelines, scripts, IaC, configuration automation, and AI tools.
• Optimize costs in a multicloud environment through resource utilization analysis and guidance to teams.
• Optimize Kubernetes (OKD) cluster utilization and operation.
• Develop machine images with Ansible.
• Design multicloud Terraform infrastructure integrated with build and deployment processes.
• Ensure security, performance, and availability with Akamai WAF/CDN configurations.
• Expand observability using New Relic, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps to join an exciting, high-scale e-commerce project. In this role, you will treat platform services as a product for development teams while balancing cost, business value, and operational efficiency through the principles of Platform Engineering and FinOps.

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer, SRE, Reliability Engineer, Systems Administrator, or related role.

Acting in the spirit of Platform Engineering and FinOps: thinking about platform services as a product for development teams while analyzing solutions through the lens of costs, business value, and maintenance efficiency.

Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD, and the ability to choose them for the appropriate stage of the software creation and maintenance process.

Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible, understanding the differences between Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation.

Strong understanding of how Kubernetes (OKD/OpenShift) works, with Docker being a natural element of daily work.

Freely navigating AWS, GCP, and Azure environments, being able to compare services in terms of costs, reliability, scalability, and fit for specific business scenarios.

Experience in configuring and maintaining at least some of the following technologies: Nginx, Varnish, MySQL, Percona Cluster, Redis, ProxySQL, Elasticsearch.

Ability to analyze incidents, prepare post-mortems, and propose actions to limit the risk of similar problems repeating.

Very good knowledge of the Linux system and comfortable working in the terminal.

Command of the English language at a level that enables fluent reading and understanding of technical documentation.

AI-powered skills: experience working with AI tools resulting in measurable time savings and quality growth.

Responsibilities

Develop the DevOps Platform, providing development teams with ready, repeatable, and well-documented services supporting automation, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure management.

Automate repetitive tasks using pipelines, scripts, Infrastructure as Code, configuration automation, and AI tools.

Optimize the costs of maintained services through resource utilization analysis and supporting teams in making conscious cost decisions in a multicloud environment.

Optimize the utilization and operation of Kubernetes (OKD) clusters.

Develop machine images built using Ansible.

Design and implement multicloud infrastructure in Terraform, integrating it with automation, building, and application deployment processes.

Ensure security, performance, and availability of services through the configuration of Akamai WAF and CDN solutions.

Expand the observability area using tools such as New Relic, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie.
