Job summary

SOFTSWISS is seeking an Experienced Delivery Manager in Warsaw to own end-to-end delivery across 1–2 development teams within the Sportsbook stream. You will directly manage 1 PM and 1 Scrum Master, coordinating with Product on priorities and with Engineering on feasibility, capacity, and timelines.

You will drive release readiness, manage dependencies, and surface blockers early, while maintaining strong relationships between delivery and engineering. Fluency in English and Russian is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Delivery Manager or Technical PM in a product-focused tech company.
• Proven experience directly mentoring delivery people (PMs, Scrum Masters).
• Experience leading development teams – comfortable discussing capacity with engineers.
• Hands-on bug management and defect triage workflows.
• Strong escalation instincts and ownership mindset.
• Fluent in English and Russian (working languages of the team).

Responsibilities

• Directly manage 1 Project Manager and 1 Scrum Master and functionally lead 1–2 development teams.
• Own end-to-end delivery, align with Product on priorities and with Engineering on feasibility, capacity, and timelines.
• Establish effective working relationships between delivery and engineering.
• Identify process breakdowns and blockers; surface misalignments early between what engineering builds and what product expects.
• Own cross-team dependency tracking and coordinate release readiness; manage the release calendar.
• Partner with engineering on technical debt visibility and own bug management flow.
• Manage delivery impact during incidents and hotfixes; ensure defect visibility.
• Track sprint progress, dependencies, and release readiness; escalate blockers within 24 hours.
• Maintain Jira hygiene and delivery reporting for stakeholders; facilitate Scrum ceremonies.

About Product:

The SOFTSWISS Sportsbook is a software platform designed for launching and managing a successful online sports betting business. The Sportsbook team’s goal is to develop truly innovative software that will make the process of creating and running a bookmaker website faster and easier for our clients. We are searching for driven individuals who are passionate about what they do and are ready to work on engaging tasks and exciting projects together.

You’ll own end-to-end Delivery across 1 Development team (growing to 2) within the Sportsbook stream. You’ll directly manage 1 PM and 1 Scrum Master, functionally lead the Dev teams under you, and be accountable for Delivery health – not just tracking it, but shaping how work gets done day to day.

What You’ll Do:

• Directly manage 1 Project Manager and 1 Scrum Master and functionally lead 1–2 development teams
• Own end-to-end delivery, drive predictability and coordinate with Product on priorities and with Engineering on feasibility, capacity, and timelines
• Establish effective working relationships between delivery and engineering
• Identify process breakdowns, communication gaps, and recurring blockers and fix them and surface misalignments early between what engineering builds and what product expects
• Own cross-team dependency tracking and coordinate release readiness across teams, own the release calendar, and ensure smooth handoffs to production
• Partner with engineering on technical debt visibility and own bug management flow
• Manage delivery impact during incidents and hotfixes and ensure defect visibility doesn’t fall through the cracks between teams
• Track sprint progress, cross-team dependencies, and release readiness daily and escalation blockers within 24 hours
• Maintain Jira hygiene and delivery reporting for stakeholders and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, drive retrospective actions to closure

Required Experience:

• 3+ years as a Delivery Manager, Technical PM in a product-focused tech company
• Proven experience directly managing or mentoring delivery people (PMs, Scrum Masters)
• Experience functionally leading development teams – comfortable talking capacity, blockers, and technical constraints with engineers
• Hands-on experience with bug management and defect triage workflows
• Strong escalation instincts
• Confident working in Jira and with delivery metrics
• Proactive and ownership-driven
• Fluent in English and Russian (working languages of the team)
