SOFTSWISS is seeking a Sport Risk Manager to join the Sportsbook Team. You will oversee betting events, markets, and odds, monitor player activity, and help maintain high data quality across multiple sports and jurisdictions.

You will work with trading, risk, product, and engineering teams to improve sportsbook performance and deploy new features while ensuring compliance in regulated markets globally.

Qualifications

• Experience in the betting industry
• Hands-on experience with pre-match and live betting operations
• Strong knowledge of sports including horse racing
• Strong understanding of probability theory and betting odds
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility and ownership
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• English at B1+ level or higher
• Russian at C1+ level or higher

Responsibilities

• Monitor pre-match and live events, adjusting odds, betting lines and market settings when required
• Manage event and market operations, including configuration, suspension, removal and settlement
• Configure templates and bookmaker settings across different sports and leagues
• Monitor betting activity, manage bet control processes and perform initial player risk analysis
• Analyze Sportsbook performance across sports and leagues, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with operators and internal betting, Product and technical teams on operational issues, competitor analysis, testing and the development of new Sportsbook functionality
• Maintain betting data quality by reviewing participant names, translations and other event information
• Keep operational documentation and the Sportsbook knowledge base accurate and up to date

Overview:

SOFTSWISS is hiring a Sport Risk Manager to join our Sportsbook Team. You’ll work across betting operations, risk monitoring and platform configuration, helping ensure reliable day-to-day Sportsbook performance across multiple sports, leagues and markets.

About Product:

The SOFTSWISS Sportsbook team builds a platform that lets operators launch and manage sports betting businesses in regulated markets around the world.

You’ll work on the systems behind betting operations, market management, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, solving technical and business problems alongside people with deep expertise in trading, risk management, and regulated industries.

Purpose of the Role:

You’ll support the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our Sportsbook by managing betting events and markets, monitoring player activity and maintaining high-quality betting data. Your work will help identify operational risks, improve Sportsbook performance and support the development of new functionality for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pre-match and live events, adjusting odds, betting lines and market settings when required

Required Experience:

• Experience in the betting industry; B2B experience is an advantage

• Hands-on experience with both pre-match and live betting operations

• Strong knowledge of sports, including a solid understanding of horse racing

• Strong understanding of probability theory and betting odds

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility and ownership

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• English at B1+ level or higher

• Russian at C1+ level or higher

• Experience working in an IT environment

• Background in project or product development

• Background in risk management, analytics or operational control
