Job summary

Commerzbank is seeking a Data Scientist/ AI engineer to support the DocAI+ initiative, scaling automation across 40+ use cases. You will implement AI solutions for automatic document data extraction and classification using Google Document AI and other tools, advising on end-to-end business processes and stakeholder expectations.

The role sits in the Document Lifecycle cluster, driving paperless banking solutions, with a cross-functional agile team and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL, with practical ML experience.
• Experience building data-driven AI solutions and deploying models.
• Familiarity with data governance and banking processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and validate machine learning models for data-driven applications and services.
• Perform data and pipeline analysis to identify issues and enable better decisions in AI solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and interface partners to understand business challenges and apply technical expertise.
• Explore new data-driven solutions to improve models, processes and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with AI governance and internal guidelines; work with cloud environments.
