Job summary

DCG is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer with Databricks to design and implement data processing solutions in Azure, and to lead OCR-based document processing initiatives for our clients.

You will work in a fully remote setting, coordinating with international teams, applying NLP and sentiment analysis, and advancing AI-driven automation across multilingual documents.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Data Engineering.

Senior AI/ML Engineer with Databricks

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data processing solutions in the Azure ecosystem
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse
• Develop OCR-based solutions for automated document processing
• Integrate extracted data with enterprise applications and reporting systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to DataOps best practices
• Support the implementation of AI and Machine Learning initiatives
• OCR automation for cash register reports
• Intelligent extraction of data from receipts and invoices
• Document data extraction and integration with downstream systems
• Digitization and automation of paper-based customer surveys
• OCR combined with text analytics and sentiment analysis
• Processing multilingual documents and forms
• Supporting new AI-driven automation initiatives emerging in the project pipeline

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Data Engineering
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
• Very good knowledge of Azure Cloud services
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake
• Experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence, Data Mining, DataOps
• Exposure to Machine Learning projects
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development practices
• Experience with OCR, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), or Azure AI Document Intelligence
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text analytics
• Very good knowledge of English
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
• Experience with multilingual document processing solutions
