Job summary

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is seeking a Data Engineer / Document AI Engineer for a fully remote engagement. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and deploying Document AI solutions to process and extract information from documents.

You will work with Python, SQL, Spark, and various cloud AI tools to deliver end-to-end data solutions in a modern, remote environment. You will partner with data scientists and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Data Engineer with Python/SQL/Spark.
Experience with Document AI tools (Google Document AI, AWS Textract, Azure Form Recognizer).
Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data warehousing experience.
Familiarity with NLP, OCR, and unstructured data processing.
Strong data modeling, orchestration (Airflow), and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
Develop and deploy Document AI solutions for intelligent document processing and extraction.
Implement and optimize ML models for document classification, OCR, and NLP tasks.
Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Manage and integrate structured and unstructured data across cloud and on-prem environments.
Monitor data quality, pipeline performance, and system reliability.
Contribute to architecture and continuous improvement of the data platform.
