Commerzbank AG in Łódź is seeking a Data Scientist to develop AI-enabled pricing insights and robust ML solutions. You will deploy, monitor, and validate models while collaborating with stakeholders across locations to shape data-driven use cases.

The role emphasizes hands-on data processing, feature engineering, and documentation within an AI-governed framework, with mentoring responsibilities for juniors.

Qualifications

• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field.
• Excellent programming skills in Python (Pandas) and SQL.
• Ideally experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Terraform).
• Solid knowledge and experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI use cases.
• Ideally experience with generative AI/agentic AI frameworks like LangChain or Google's agent development kit.

Responsibilities

• Expanding the product portfolio of our corporate client AI teams including traditional ML, DL and RL models as well as generative AI and agentic AI use cases.
• Deployments, including monitoring and optimizing models.
• Validating model results.
• Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and analyses to identify patterns and trends.
• Close coordination with stakeholders to specify requirements and evaluate Data Science use cases.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, and adhering to AI governance guidelines.
• Onboarding and mentoring juniors, and knowledge sharing within GS-DATA.
