Job summary

Commerzbank Digital Technology Centre Poland is seeking a Data Scientist/AI Engineer to scale AI for document processing across the bank. You will implement AI solutions for automatic data extraction and classification using Google Document AI and other latest tools, engaging with stakeholders to align on end-to-end processes.

The role sits in the Document Lifecycle cluster, focusing on transforming document use within the organization and enabling a paperless bank.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL with hands-on ML experience.
• Experience building data-driven AI solutions for document processing preferred.
• Familiar with cloud environments and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and validate ML models for data-driven applications.
• Perform data and pipeline analysis to support stakeholders and AI delivery.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Explore new data-driven approaches to improve models and outcomes.
• Ensure AI governance compliance and follow internal guidelines.
• Use bank platforms and cloud tools in line with standards.
• Work in a cross-functional agile team across business, tech and ops.
