Job summary

Signify is seeking a Data Engineer in Piła, Poland, to manage product data and costing within SAP, ensure data quality, and support cloud data uploads. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, and factory teams across Europe to enable data-driven decision making and cost improvements.

The role requires finance/economics/IT background, strong SAP/Excel data skills, and fluency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Manage product data and costing in SAP and create/maintain data accuracy.

• Support end-of-life processes by cleaning obsolete data and phasing out components.
• Lead at least one data management improvement project per year.
• Calculate and update standard prices for new and existing products, incl. quarterly updates.
• Provide data-driven insights for deal and pricing analysis to inform cost improvements.
• Collaborate with product management and engineers in New Product Introduction projects.
• Contribute to central data engineering community and cross-factory projects.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Data Engineer in Piła (Poland) with Signify. You will interact with various departments from the factory, R&D, product management, and more around Europe, learn new skills, and grow your career. Your work will make a huge and high-tech impact not only for the organization but more importantly, for the end users of our products! In this role, you will be responsible for the product and technical data management within SAP. Strong data management skills are essential and should come naturally to you.

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain product data and costing information in SAP, including creating smart products configurators and unique material codes for finished goods and components
• Ensure high-quality, error-free product data entry and secure product data upload to different cloud systems
• Support end-of-life processes by cleaning and phasing out obsolete product and component data
• Participate in and lead at least one data management improvement project per year
• Calculate and update standard prices for new and existing products, including quarterly price updates
• Support business with deal and pricing analysis, providing data-driven insights and suggestions for cost improvement
• Collaborate with product management and product engineers in New Product Introduction projects
• Contribute to the central data engineering community and participate in cross-factory projects
