Job summary

Signify in Piła, Poland, is seeking a Data Engineer to manage product data and costing in SAP, ensuring high-quality data and supporting cloud integrations. You will interact with factory, R&D, product management across Europe, contributing to data-driven decisions and improvements.

You will lead at least one data management project per year, support pricing analyses, and collaborate with product teams to enable New Product Introductions while growing your technical and domain expertise.

• Ideal educational background combines finance, economics and IT/programming.
• Appropriate skills of data management (SAP, Excel, etc.) are required for this role.
• Understanding of data conceptualization and IT applications.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Data Engineer in Piła (Poland) with Signify. You will interact with various departments from the factory, R&D, product management, and more around Europe, learn new skills, and grow your career. In this role, you will be responsible for the product and technical data management within SAP. Strong data management skills are essential and should come naturally to you!

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain product data and costing information in SAP, including creating smart products configurators and unique material codes for finished goods and components
• Ensure high-quality, error-free product data entry and secure product data upload to different cloud systems
• Support end-of-life processes by cleaning and phasing out obsolete product and component data
• Participate in and lead at least one data management improvement project per year
• Calculate and update standard prices for new and existing products, including quarterly price updates
• Support business with deal and pricing analysis, providing data-driven insights and suggestions for cost improvement
• Collaborate with product management and product engineers in New Product Introduction projects
• Contribute to the central data engineering community and participate in cross-factory projects

• Ability to work with and analyze data, including product data management and costing

• Confidence and eagerness to learn quickly
• Proficiency in both English and Polish is required for this role
