Job summary

BlueSoft in Poland is seeking a Senior Digital Analytics Specialist to join our BI team. You will collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to define analytics requirements and deliver dashboards.

You will prepare data, uncover patterns, generate insights with BI and Data Discovery tools, ensure data quality, document tasks and support in-app maintenance while using Teams/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in digital analytics.
• SQL: practical experience with T-SQL.
• Tableau Desktop/Prep and Tableau Server experience.
• Strong analytical skills for extracting, transforming and interpreting transactional data with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with sales, marketing and finance to identify requirements for analytical apps and projects.
• Data preparation and cleaning.
• Identify patterns from data by analyzing it.
• Generate insights for real-life business challenges using BI and Data Discovery tools.
• Create and maintain BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Conduct unit tests and support in-app preparation and maintenance.
• Ensure data quality and compliance; maintain documentation for tasks.
• Support team collaboration tools (Teams, Yammer, Confluence, MS Office 365).

Your Role in the Team:

• participation in meetings with sales, marketing, and finance people to support the identification of their requirements for analytical apps and projects;
• data preparation;
• identifying patterns from data by analyzing it;
• insights generation for real-life business challenges, using BI and Data Discovery tools;
• data visualization, preparation of BI dashboards;
• conducting unit tests;
• supporting in-app preparation and maintenance;
• ensuring data quality and compliance;
• maintaining documentation for the assigned tasks;
• maintenance of team collaboration tools (Teams, Yammer, Confluence, MS Office 365 cloud collaboration tools).

Requirements

• university degree in economics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, finance, or other if presenting strong analytical skills;
• over 4 years of experience in digital analytics;
• practical experience of SQL: T-SQL;
• practical experience of Tableau Desktop/Prep and Tableau Server;
• strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, transform and interpret transactional (accounting) data with attention to details and accuracy;
• advanced English (multinational team, working on global assignments).

Nice to have

• ability to identify and amend errors in transactional data in SAP;
• AWS;
• experience in building relational databases, applying best practices for database design and development activities;
• experience with software such as: Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio: create / maintain, GitHub.
