Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Customer Master Data Analyst to maintain accuracy and completeness of customer data in our systems, ensuring proper integration with other systems and availability to other departments as needed.

The role works with Sales, Finance, and Logistics to ensure correct customer setups, monitors data quality KPIs, and supports data migrations, reporting, and master data resolutions across SAP and Microsoft Dynamics environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Data Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Master Data administration, data integrity and quality assurance.
• Good experience with SAP; MDm tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to work with numbers, spreadsheets and large datasets.
• Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivottables).
• Must communicate effectively with internal teams to gather and validate customer information.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure correct customer setup.
• Monitor data quality KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in system upgrades, data migrations or integrations.
• Train users on data management best practices.
• Distribute leads to sales teams from tradeshows, web campaigns, and other sources in Microsoft Dynamics.
• Assist global users and data stewards in master data issue resolution.
• Act as SME for customer-related attributes in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics projects; assist with testing enhancements and upgrades.
• Pull reports and perform ad-hoc analysis. Assist global users with creating reports from multiple data sources.
• Run mass updates in SAP systems.

Requirements:
