Job summary

Solid Company is seeking a Senior Risk Data Analyst to perform daily analysis of key factors and business data on securities products, liquidity and concentration exposure calculations.

You will identify risk data quality issues, maintain checks, partner with Counterparty Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Management and IT, and present findings to senior management. Strong data analysis and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Business and Risk data across securities, market data and trading products.
• Around 10+ years of banking experience with good understanding of Credit Risk and exposure calculations.
• Knowledge of OTC, SFT and Cash products.
• Proven track record of successful project management of multiple priorities and dealing effectively with demanding business partners.
• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred (Risk/Finance/Accountancy/IT/Other).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily analysis of key risk factors and business data on securities products.
• Proactively identify issues in liquidity and credit risk exposure calculations.
• Maintain reasonability checks on risk and finance attributes.
• Identify critical data elements for risk processes with business and risk stakeholders.
• Set up data quality processes per client requirements.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members.
• Focus on data quality issue identification and resolution.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Operate with limited supervision.
• Develop tools and procedures for data issue identification.
• Promote reuse of existing tools and streamline processes.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Track progress of data quality projects, including technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with Counterparty Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Management, Markets, ICM and Technology to improve data integrity.

Job description

• Perform daily analysis of key factors and business data on securities products, liquidity and concentration exposure calculation
• Proactively identify potential issues in credit risk exposure calculations (Liquidity and Readily Marketable, Pre-settlement, Net Stressed)
• Maintain reasonability checks on crucial risk/finance attributes
• Identify critical data elements for key risk processes with Business and Risk consumers
• Set up new risk data quality processes per Clients requirements
• Act as SME to Senior stakeholders and/or other team members
• Focus on data quality issue identification and resolution
• Present findings and recommendations to Senior management
• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
• Develop tools, systems and procedures for potential data issues identification
• Promote effective use of existing tools and processes, eliminate ineffectual ones
• Provide training and guidance to other team members
• Track progress of data quality projects, including technology initiatives and Issues for Management Resolution
• Work closely with Counterparty Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Management, Markets, ICM and Technology to improve integrity of factors, processes and systems impacting the data
