For our client, producer and wholesaler of automotive parts we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Country Manager
Main Role:
The Country Manager is responsible for the complete management of commercial activities in dedicated market – from developing growth strategies, building sales channels and relationships with key partners, to leading the team and managing the P&L. Country manager position is the key for further development on Polish Market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the local market both for spare parts and industrial sector along with the HQ
- Identify new business opportunities (OEM, distributors, specialis shops and end users)
- Manage Polish market analysis, competition benchmarking, pricing trends, and monitor new to range SKUs and technological developments at competitor’s side
- Achieve sales targets and expand sales channels
- Negotiate contracts with key customers and partners
- Forecast planning, pricing, and active margin management
- Taking appropriate corrective actions in case of deviations from the plan
- Lead the team (sales representatives, technical specialists, back office and accountancy)
- Set KPIs, provide mentoring, and participate in recruitment
- Cooperate with different departments at HQ (marketing, supply chain, Operational department and sales department – OEM, Aftermarket and Energy solutions)
- Organizing sales and employee training
4. P&L and Operations Management
- Take responsibility for budget, profitability, and sales efficiency
- Operating, measuring and evaluating the cost saving measures
- Investment planning and monitoring implementation
- Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory planning
- Provide regular reporting to company leadership
5. Brand Representation
- Managing the marketing activities at Polish market
- Participating in different marketing activities such as trade fairs, promotions, trainings and conferences.
- Strengthen brand presence within possible communicating channels.
- Cooperate with regulatory bodies, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Commercial education, preferably with an academic degree
- Experience/knowledge of automotive parts market in Poland (tires, oils, spare parts distributors, etc.)
- Several years of experience in a comparable leadership or senior commercial role
- Leadership experience combined with excellent business acumen
- Solid experience in sales, marketing, product management, sales management, and sales controlling
- Strong language skills: English is essential; German is desirable
- Valid driver’s license
- Strategic mindset, results-oriented approach, and ability to make decisions independently
