Job summary

Hiab is seeking a Country IT Coordinator to support our operations in Poland from on site in Gdańsk. You will bridge local business operations with our global IT community, ensuring smooth workplace technology for end-users and collaborating with international teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on IT support, strong organizational skills, and a customer-service mindset in a fast-paced, international environment. Monthly visits to Warsaw and Poznań are expected.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Windows environments and end-user hardware.
• Strong prioritization and time-management abilities in a busy setting.
• People-first communicator with colleagues at all levels.
• Fluent in Polish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site 'hands and feet' IT support for end-users, meeting rooms, and local networks in coordination with global teams.
• Act as the primary local IT contact, tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving daily user requests and incidents.
• Coordinate local IT equipment logistics, including peripherals, mobile devices, and carrier contracts.
• Liaise with local vendors and service providers, supervising on-site maintenance and safety/technical standards.
• Maintain site documentation, IT asset inventories, and CMDB records per ITIL practices.
• Conduct monthly one-day visits to Warsaw and Poznań for on-site support and cross-location alignment.

As our Country IT Coordinator, you will serve as the crucial bridge between our local business operations and our global IT community. Based on‑site in Gdańsk, your core mission is to keep our workplace technology running smoothly, ensuring end‑users have the tools and support they need to succeed.

Beyond managing equipment, networks, and tickets, your real impact comes from customer service: interacting with colleagues across all levels of the business, understanding their technical needs, and coordinating effective solutions. Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site "hands and feet" support for end‑users, meeting room tech, workplace peripherals, and local network/server infrastructure in coordination with global service teams.
• Act as the primary local IT contact, tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving daily user requests and incidents in a timely manner.
• Coordinate local IT equipment logistics, including peripheral procurement, mobile devices (MDM/telephony), and carrier contract administration.
• Liaise with local external vendors and service providers, supervising on‑site maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, IT asset inventories, and CMDB records in line with global standards and ITIL best practices.
• Conduct planned one‑day visits once a month to our sites in Warsaw and Poznań to provide on‑site support and maintain cross‑location alignment.

What we are looking for

• Solid foundation in Windows environments, end‑user hardware, mobile devices, and fundamental network/infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and stay composed in a busy, multi‑tasking environment.
• A natural "people person" , capable of communicating clearly and constructively with colleagues at all organizational levels.
• Fluent in both Polish and English (written and verbal) to collaborate effortlessly with local staff and remote international teams.
