Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a mid-level Project Manager to lead technical projects from inception to completion. You will ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope while coordinating internal and cross-functional agile teams across time zones.

Remote (Europe) with travel required (~5 trips, ~2 weeks each). You will develop proposals, track milestones, communicate with stakeholders, and foster self-organizing teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT project management experience, including development work and client interactions.
• Experience managing projects across different time zones.
• Solid knowledge of software development and deployment industry standards.
• Strong experience working with cross-functional agile teams and multi-team environments.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA) and Agile artifacts (User Stories, Epics, Backlog, DoD/DoR).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills in English.
• Willingness to travel (~5 business trips, around 2 weeks each).
