Job summary

OPmobility is seeking an engineer to lead development of sensors, actuators and electro‑mechanical components for automotive/industrial applications. You will evaluate technologies, select suppliers, and define requirements to meet performance and reliability targets.

You will coordinate testing with suppliers and drive industrialization from concept to serial production, while managing risks and enabling knowledge transfer to production teams. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in product development, engineering or R&D within automotive or industrial sector.
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, electro-mechanical products or similar technologies.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of product testing, validation and industrialization processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of sensors, actuators and electro-mechanical components.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify best suppliers for future product development.
• Define product requirements and ensure components meet performance, quality and reliability.
• Coordinate testing activities and verify new solutions work within the final product with suppliers.
• Support introduction of new components from concept through industrialization and serial production.
• Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvement across development.
• Contribute to innovation projects and bring new technologies into the organization.
• Ensure knowledge transfer between development and production teams.
