Job summary

Devire is partnering with a global leader in the manufacture of medical devices to hire a Collections Specialist with German. The role involves credit management, cash application support, AR reconciliations and SOX‑compliant month‑end reporting in a hybrid environment with two days remote.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or economics, have 3+ years in collections (MedTech a plus), strong Excel, and be fluent in English and German with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or economics.
• 3+ years in collections; MedTech experience is a plus.
• Experience in general accounting or customer service is valued.
• Strong Excel skills and proactive mindset.
• Fluent English and German are mandatory.
• Immediate availability is required.
• Experience with factoring companies is beneficial.
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Credit management and risk analysis for the assigned portfolio.
• Cash application support and compliance with SOPs.
• AR reconciliations and bad debt reserve management.
• Month-end reporting in line with SOX requirements.
• Audit support and reporting.
• Improve and standardize credit management using lean methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting of economics.
• Experience 3+ years in collection (any other experience in MedTech companies is a plus).
• Experience in general accounting or customer service will also be evaluated.
• Good command of Excel.
• Hands on and proactive.
• Good command of English and German language is mandatory.
• Experience with Factoring Companies is requested.
• Experience with SAP4Hana is an advantage.
• Available immediately—a must-have.

Responsibilities

• Credit management and risk analysis for your assigned customer portfolio.
• Cash application support and ensuring compliance and applicable standard operating procedures.
• Performing AR reconciliations and bad debt reserve management.
• Month-end reporting in accordance with SOX requirements.
• Audit supporting activities and reporting.
• Improving and standardizing credit management processes by using lean approach.
