Job summary

OpenTalent seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to support Flix on a project basis, focusing on designing, automating, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for the Cloud Platform team within the Foundation Division.

The role centers on AWS and Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform, and CI/CD processes. You will contribute to platform reliability, on-call support, and continuous improvement of tooling and developer experience.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on DevOps/Platform experience.
IaC experience, Terraform preferred.
Public cloud experience, AWS preferred.
Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
Proficient in scripting languages: Python, Bash or Go.
Excellent technical communication and collaboration.
Experience delivering services independently on cloud projects.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
Advance Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and related tools.
Automate operational workflows with Bash, Python, or Go.
Support CI/CD processes and help teams utilize the cloud platform stack.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues with Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Contribute to platform reliability, incident response, and disaster recovery.
Evaluate technologies and provide implementation recommendations.
Improve developer experience by enabling efficient use of platform tools.
