Job summary

XM is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work with cloud-native tech, automations, and CI/CD pipelines. You will manage infrastructure using Terraform, deploy and maintain applications on AWS and Kubernetes, and support development teams with troubleshooting.

You will drive automation, implement cloud migrations, and help ensure robust, scalable operations while aligning with company standards and best practices. This role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or similar discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience in CI/CD with GitLab and/or Jenkins.
• Experience in AWS technologies and ecosystem.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of IaC concepts and Terraform.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Strong organisation and documentation skills.
• Essential Linux and Windows administration, networking and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to plan, deploy and administer applications on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and Terraform.
• Drive adoption of technologies and best practices for development and operations.
• Manage technical domains or projects ensuring architectural consistency and scalability.
• Improve engineering processes with automation and optimization for reliability.
• Implement cloud migration projects.
• Communicate cloud migration progress to senior leadership.
• Preserve business continuity with minimal downtime and impact.
• Assess cloud deployments for compliance with standards and best practices.
• Ensure deployment standards and pillars are followed in cloud solutions.
• Stay updated with latest tools and trends.
