Job summary

Arista Networks in Warsaw, Poland seeks a self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer for a contract (B2B) role. You will provide pre-sales technical support, act as a trusted advisor, and design creative solutions with customers and prospects.

You will collaborate with the EMEA team, gain hands-on experience with CLI, automation, and tooling, and play a key role in shaping data center, routing and campus networks while driving sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Preference will be given to candidates based within 1 hour of Warsaw.
• Technical degree required.
• Networking design and implementation experience.
• Practical experience with routing and switching, including relevant protocols.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Deep knowledge of switching/routing protocols (e.g., STP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, Network Segmentation).
• Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Pre-Sales.
• Hands-on CLI experience is highly desired.
• Interest in Netops/Devops using Python and Ansible.
• ACE Level 5 or higher qualifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Arista Account Managers to understand customer challenges and conduct network architecture sessions and product presentations.
• Architect, design and propose Arista Data Center, Routing & Campus network and security solutions to generate new sales.
• Perform hands-on customer proof-of-concepts and initial network deployments using state-of-the-art products and features.
• Create design guidelines and recommend improvements to customer networks.
• Lead responses to RFPs/RFQs and drive customer feature requests to deployment.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Development.
• Represent Arista at industry events and conferences.
• Stay up-to-date on competitors and technology trends.
• Author white papers, blogs, and papers on technology and products.
