Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a focus on networking to strengthen the Digital Platform Operations Team. The role emphasizes governance, IaaS, PaaS, network operation, and automation to deliver stable cloud services across multiple locations including Katowice, Berlin, Amsterdam, or Stockholm.

You will design and manage cloud-based networks, collaborate with DevOps and security teams, and automate provisioning with PowerShell and Bicep/ARM.

Qualifications

Academic degree in IT, engineering, science or mathematics.
Interest in new technologies and fast learner.
Experience with cloud services.
Experience in a large international environment.
Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Ability to translate complex technical matters into simple language.
Willingness to develop as a T-shaped Cloud Specialist with network focus.

Responsibilities

Ensure a stable cloud platform that evolves with organizational needs.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based network architectures.
Collaborate with DevOps, security and development teams to integrate networking solutions.
Automate network infrastructure provisioning and management using scripting tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance in cloud environments.
Participate in governance, policy implementation and audits.
Provide guidance on cloud consumption and TCO, and support security initiatives.
