Job summary

Uni Systems is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Warsaw team. You will design, implement, and maintain automation across VMware, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, focusing on reliability and scalability.

You will develop scripts in Python, PowerShell, and Bash, use Terraform and Ansible for IaC, and collaborate with multiple IT teams. The role requires a strong background in virtualization and cloud administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; 5+ years in IT with 2+ in automation/DevOps.
• Strong scripting in Python, PowerShell, and Bash; able to maintain automation solutions.
• Hands-on IaC and CM tools: Terraform, VMware Aria Automation, Ansible.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
• Experience in enterprise IT environments; collaboration with multiple teams.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management, change and release management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions supporting IT operations across VMware, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Analyze IT processes and develop automation strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash for operational tasks.
• Utilize IaC and CM tools to automate provisioning and configuration management.
• Improve IT operational practices while adhering to policies and security requirements.
• Perform 2nd line support and coordinate with 3rd line and external vendors.
• Maintain documentation and participate in projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Create PoCs and evaluate emerging technologies for continuous improvement.
