Job summary

MagentaTeam in Poland is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to own deployment, operation, and reliability of cloud-based applications. You will monitor, optimize, and scale services while partnering with product and engineering teams.

You will drive incident analysis, root-cause identification, and long-term improvements, and apply AI-assisted tooling to automate coding, testing, and deployment tasks. This role emphasizes security, observability, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or GCP) in production environments.
• Hands-on with containerized/serverless workloads and Cloud Run/Azure equivalents.
• Experience operating MongoDB including backup and recovery.
• Experience with Java microservices frameworks (Quarkus) and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Ability to work autonomously from analysis to implementation.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and prompts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, monitor, and improve cloud-based apps and services.
• Own operational topics including incident analysis and long-term fixes.
• Support end-to-end application lifecycle from design to production support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design secure, scalable solutions.
• Improve automation, observability, and deployment tooling.
