Job summary

Sii Poland is hiring a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team in Poland. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform and work with BigQuery as the data warehouse, shaping data models and optimizing queries.

You will collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams, implement CI/CD for data pipelines, and help evolve data architecture while ensuring data quality and reliability across a range of data sources.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar in production
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery data modeling and Cloud Storage
• Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch and/or streaming)
• Strong SQL and Python for data processing and orchestration
• Experience in workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer
• Experience implementing CI/CD for data solutions (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with large data volumes focusing on performance and reliability
• Fluent English; Polish language required

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP
• Work with BigQuery as the main data warehouse, including data modeling and query optimization
• Integrate data from various sources and transform it
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow / Cloud Composer
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines and infrastructure
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Ensure data quality, monitor pipelines and respond to incidents
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver well-documented data
• Contribute to data architecture and best practices in data engineering
