Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to develop cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will design scalable data pipelines, model data in BigQuery, and optimize queries for performance.

Responsibilities include orchestrating workflows with Airflow, implementing CI/CD for data solutions, and managing Terraform-based infrastructure. Fluent English and Polish are required for effective collaboration.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar position working with data in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch and/or streaming).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python in data processing and orchestration.
• Experience in workflow orchestration (Airflow/Cloud Composer).
• Experience implementing CI/CD for data solutions (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Fluent English and Polish communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines based on Google Cloud Platform.
• Work with BigQuery as the main data warehouse: data modeling, query and cost optimization.
• Integrate data from various sources and orchestrate data workflows.
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Ensure data quality and monitor pipelines; respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver robust data solutions.
