Job summary

Volkswagen Financial Services (Poland) is seeking a skilled cloud/AI engineer to design and operate AI/data platforms on AWS, develop IaC, and build scalable ML services. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborate with data scientists, and help ensure security and regulatory compliance.

You will own the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, mentor team members, and contribute to best practices across engineering. Fluent English and Polish required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cloud/platform engineering (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Strong experience with IaC and modern CI/CD.
• Experience building scalable services with AWS or other cloud solutions.
• Good understanding of MLOps and AI system lifecycle.
• Knowledge of cloud security and data protection (GDPR).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Good English and Polish communication skills.
• Nice to have: AWS certifications, experience with ML/data libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud-native AI/data platforms on AWS.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop scalable systems for ML training, deployment, and serving.
• Implement backend services and data products using Python and Java.
• Collaborate with data scientists to develop AI solutions.
• Own the full lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Ensure observability, security, and compliance (GDPR, IAM, OAuth2/JWT).
• Drive engineering best practices and mentor team members.
