Job summary

TransPerfect, a global language services and technology company, is seeking a detail-oriented project coordinator to support translation projects. You will liaise with clients and production teams, prepare budgets and timelines, and ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience in customer service and/or project management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client requests for new project initiatives through our centralized technology.
• Collaborate with production team to assess scope and produce cost/time estimates.
• Initiate project work with detailed budget and schedule for the team.
• Provide instructions to the project team and anticipate roadblocks.
• Ensure issues are addressed with the client before submission to production.
• Set up project specifics to ensure team success.
• Learn clients’ industry and business needs to educate the project team.
• Monitor progress, meet deadlines and budgets, deliver high-quality results.
• Serve as the liaison between external clients and internal staff.
• Set and fulfill client expectations.
• Comply with ISO-aligned regulations and processes.
• Troubleshoot problematic projects as needed.
• Clarify instructions and communicate them effectively to the team.
• Investigate client complaints when applicable.
• Discuss issues with clients and production staff to resolve problems.
