Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer in Warsaw to work side by side with client teams, turning ideas into concrete AI products and prototypes. You’ll scope, estimate, and budget projects, and build LLM-powered solutions with fast user feedback.

You’ll own the path from first conversations to production, using foundation models, APIs, and modern AI frameworks. Fluent Polish and English, plus a pragmatic product mindset, are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in software engineering with real user-facing LLM apps.
• Proficient Python and hands-on with LLM APIs, RAG, tool calling, and agent frameworks.
• Daily use of AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor.
• Product-minded with MVP thinking and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication with business stakeholders.
• Experience scoping and estimating software or AI projects, incl. risk.
• Self-starter with fast learning of new tech.
• Advanced Polish and English; residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Work embedded with client teams to turn ideas into concrete product concepts.
• Prototype quickly, test with real users, and decide what to scale or pivot.
• Scope, estimate, and budget projects; communicate value to clients.
• Build and ship LLM-powered products: assistants, agentic workflows, and integrations.
• Define success metrics, prioritize by business value, and measure impact.
• Proactively propose solutions and keep up with new models and tools.
• Contribute to the strategy and growth of the AI business unit.
