Job summary
Siemens Energy in Katowice seeks a Field Service Engineer to support high voltage equipment during warranty and post-warranty periods. You will manage service contracts, supervise installations and commissioning, and ensure regulatory safety compliance to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
The role requires a degree in Electrical or Power Engineering, 5+ years of HV/MV installation experience, and willingness to travel.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Polish and a good command of English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
- Several years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the installation and/or commissioning of high voltage and medium voltage systems.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform field service tasks for high voltage electrical systems (GIS, AIS) during warranty and post-warranty periods.
- Supervise installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of HV equipment and switchgears.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout all processes.
