Job summary

USO in Bemowo Piskie, Poland, is seeking a Center Operations Specialist to manage daily center operations and deliver high-quality programs for service members and families. The role focuses on safety, guest services, and cost-efficient programming, with opportunities to design activities and coordinate volunteers.

The position is fully on-site in Poland, with housing and transportation allowances included where applicable, and requires US citizenship and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in event management, marketing, customer service, recreation facility or related role.
• Experience in non-profit, military, multicultural and/or global organization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact with leadership and the public with integrity and professionalism.
• Proficient with computers and electronics; knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with volunteer management software and social media platforms.
• Experience with Digital Cheetah preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day Center operations ensuring a safe, welcoming and clean environment.
• Monitor facilities and equipment to keep them well-maintained and ready-to-use.
• Engage with Center visitors and act as a subject-matter expert on services and activities.
• Plan and oversee programs, events and activities, coordinating resources and volunteers.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure adequate resources and volunteer participation.
