Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland seeks an experienced Business R&D professional to join the CDSe Domain Expert team, focused on distribution transformers design platform advancements. You will collaborate across factories globally to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Ideal candidates have a background in electrical engineering, 2+ years in PGTR, and strong English communication. The role combines development, testing, user training, and technical support in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of PGTR experience (GPG DT preferred).
• Strong knowledge of transformer design principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Solid knowledge about distribution transformers and PGTR GPG DT products.
• Experience with transformers for special applications (BESS, Renewables, rectifiers).
• Experience creating technical documentation including drawings (AutoCAD).
• Understanding of software development process and agile framework.
• Pro-active attitude, self-motivated with ownership.
• Ability to work independently towards set goals and objectives.
• Strong planning and execution with high quality.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Support CDSe platform development and maintenance for Distribution Transformers.
• Lead development and implementation of transformers for special applications (Rectifiers, VSDs, Solar, Wind & BESS).
• Prepare software specifications and verify implemented features with developers.
• Support factories and end users; train users and hold regular meetings with factories.
• Deliver test cases and lead end-user test sessions.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of the design platform.
• Prepare training materials and provide technical support to end users.
• Monitor hotline requests and address user feedback to improve platform performance.
• Collaborate with Hub engineering to expedite CDS implementation in factories.
• Be part of a multicultural CDS community and propose innovative solutions.
