Hitachi Energy Poland is seeking a Design Tool Domain Expert to bridge engineering and digital solutions for transformer design platforms. You will validate new functionalities, collaborate with R&D and software teams, and ensure tools meet real-world engineering workflows.

You will define technical specs, analyze design impacts, and drive improvements while supporting users and contributing to documentation and best practices across a global engineering community.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in transformer electrical design, dielectric, impulse, and short-circuit behavior preferred.
• Hands-on mindset to validate solutions through real design applications.
• Interest in engineering tools and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute real electrical design cases to validate new functionalities within the design platform.
• Test and verify applications and features with R&D and software teams.
• Analyze impact of new solutions on design practices for accuracy and usability.
• Define and maintain technical specifications based on backlog priorities and user needs.
• Bridge engineering users and development teams by translating requirements.
